I’ve heard the first time about this technique but I’ve found this is a valuable technique. I have that how can I do my simple and complex task just in small time. This is actually a technique that helps you to organize yourself. Overall it was very helpful.

Pomodoro is a time management technique which is used to accomplish a task in less time

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. The technique uses a timer to break down work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. Each interval is known as a Pomodoro, from the Italian word for ‘tomato’. This technique is used by many students to manage time.

The Pomodoro Technique Core Process;

There are following steps;

  1. Choose a task you’d like to get done.

2. Set the Pomodoro for 25 minutes

3. Work on the task until the Pomodoro rings

5. Take a short break

6. Every 4 Pomodoros, take a longer break

Do More And Have Fun With Time Management:

My work

My daily routine is very busy. It is piled up with many duties and responsibilities. Therefore some of my works remain unattended. Today, when I’ve opened my wardrobe, I was welcomed with a bunch of clothes. They are all tangled like a thread. But as I mentioned earlier I’ve already a set routine and have not enough time to do this. So I’ve decided to apply the Pomodoro Technique on this task.

I’ve set my alarm once for 25minutes and start to work. As it too hot, so it was very difficult to do this. But as I set my alarm and started to work I’ve found a kind of energy inside me, which was pushing me to do more, to complete my task before 25 minutes.

This is not the only thing that happens to me. I was constantly in thoughts of my other works like to take my online classes or to complete my online courses. There was a lot of pressure actually. I’ve noted them down on my page and continue to work for 25 min.

After 25 min the alarm rang, but my task was not completed. I’ve taken five minutes break and get a glass of juice and again set an alarm. This is how I’ve completed my task and arranged my wardrobe. This takes a 4 Pomodoroes to complete the tasks.

this was not an easy task actually but yet I have completed it because of the Pomodoro Technique. Thank You, Amal for such great learning.
